The Automaster AM-228IT Platinum Edition Heavy duty tyre changer is designed for mid-high volume professionals, who need a reliable, robust, high-performance product with great price.

Platinum Edition models are manufactured in China, with some of the key components imported from Italy.
It has a pneumatically controlled tilt back post and is the perfect changer for busy workshops or tyre shops.
Supplied standard with the heavy duty HP3 helper arm included, and an optional WDK run flat roller kit available.
A powerful bead breaker double effect cylinder of ø 200 mm delivers 3180kg of pressure, with a patented PO system that drives the bead breaker arm back out again to prevent the blade getting stuck.
Bead breaking operations becomes more ergonomic than ever before, with a extra control pedal conveniently located by the bead breaker, closer to the operator when doing wider tyres.
The bead breaker blade has an adjustable blade angle designed to reduce the risk associated with difficult run flat tyres, or with the difficulty of soft walled tyres.
Supplied standard with a fast inflate pedal controlled inflation system and tubeless air blaster system. the inflation gauge is mounted in a convenient tool box.
The vertical shaft is controlled by an air spring for raising and lowering of the mount/demount foot.
The turntable jaws (which can be covered with plastic protection covers for reverse fit alloy rims ) hold the rim securely without damaging the surface of the rim.
These jaws can be moved to three different positions along the slides of the turntable to either increase or decrease the clamping range.

Supplied standard with an inflation gauge, plastic jaw covers, head inserts, tyre lever, lube brush, bead lube and adjustable size lube bucket holder .

We ship all heavy equipment by freight truck and most accessories/spare parts by courier.
Most lifts are delivered on a curtain-sider truck (which may require a forklift to unload), while most tyre changers and balancers are delivered on a tail-lifter truck.
If you don’t have one, we can arrange a HIAB delivery for an additional cost.
We can also arrange installation on request.
